Day 4 Genesis 37-50
LORD the story of Joseph leads us to confession, for we see in this family our own selfishness and pride. It leads us to thanks for we see how you graciously discipline and change deceivers into disciples. And it leads us to worship for you are the sovereign and gracious King who turns suffering into salvation (50:20).

I had not before made the connection between Jacob's prophetic remarks in Gen 49 and the allocation of land in Joshua, where the Levites had no land, but were given twons to live in throughout the tribes, and Simeon's allocation being within the territory of Judah
Also a great reminder in Gen 45:5-8 that God's plans are perfect and always succeed!! Joseph was sent by God to Egypt to enable preserve Israel! Wow what a great 4 days.
Great stuff guys. Loving The big sweep of the OT and piecing it all together!
